Discovering Spruce

We sip a lot of kombucha here at Belmont. During our ongoing search for the best products for our office kombucha service, we came across Spruce Kombucha. Spruce immediately stood out for its soft balance--just the right carbonation, a true tea flavor, and airy and refreshing. We became fans immediately. 

Spruce is producing in small batch form here in Portland, Oregon.

What makes Spruce special.

At its core, kombucha is cultured and fermented tea. At Spruce, we believe that's all it ever needs to be. We use only four ingredients: Water, Cane Sugar, Cultures and Tea. Never any added flavorings or sweeteners. Even with this limited palette, the flavor possibilities are endless. The secret? It's all in the tea. Rather than using a generic tea and covering it up with added flavors, we scour the world for teas bursting with nuanced flavors all their own. With just enough residual sweetness from fermentation, the resulting flavor profile is surprisingly complex.
